ASWA and Kaplan CPA Review Renew Relationship to Provide Educational Resources to
Women in the Industry
(McLean, VA, October 19, 2010) – The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) is pleased to continue its relationship with Kaplan CPA Review. ASWA and Kaplan formed this alliance to help women in the accounting profession better prepare for the CPA exam. This national partnership gives those in the industry an opportunity to learn from leaders in test preparation.
"The American Society of Women Accountants is pleased to continue our relationship with Kaplan CPA Review, which provides tools and education on preparing for the CPA Exam,” said Vivian Moller, CPA, ASWA National President. "Knowledge is power and with access to Kaplan CPA Review's resources, products and services, ASWA members will be poised to take their careers to the next level.”
American Society of Women Accountants is still the only organization that solely represents the interest of women in the entire accounting and finance community. Women compose over half of accounting graduates in the US so it is imperative for organizations like Kaplan to stay connected with ASWA members to ensure the availability of resources needed to succeed in the industry.
"As a member of ASWA, I have seen first-hand the positive impact the organization has on the accounting community,” said Kaplan VP of CPA Education Denise Probert. "This partnership is an extension of our ongoing commitment to the advancement of the profession.”
As part of the partnership, ASWA members are able to enroll in Kaplan CPA Review Self-Study and Live Online courses at a 30% discount. They also have the opportunity to receive a 15% discount on the purchase of Kaplan's IFRS Certificate Program.
