AMERICAN SOCIETY OF WOMEN ACCOUNTANTS PARTNERS WITH KAPLAN CPA REVIEW

ASWA and Kaplan CPA Review Join Together to Provide Educational Resources to
Women in the Industry

(McLean, VA, December 16, 2009) – The American Society of Women Accountants (ASWA) is pleased to announce a new relationship with Kaplan CPA Review (Kaplan). ASWA and Kaplan formed this alliance to help women in the accounting profession better prepare for the CPA exam. This national partnership gives those in the industry an opportunity to learn from leaders in test preparation.

"The American Society of Women Accountants is pleased to begin working closely with Kaplan CPA Review, which provides tools and education on preparing for the CPA Exam,” said Stacey Craig, ASWA National President. "With access to Kaplan CPA Review’s resources, products and services, ASWA members will stay poised to take their careers to the next level.”

American Society of Women Accountants is still the only organization that solely represents the interest of women in the entire accounting and finance community. Women compose over half of accounting graduates in the U.S. so it is imperative for organizations like Kaplan to stay connected with ASWA members to ensure the availability of resources needed to succeed in the industry.

"We look forward to working with ASWA and its members to further the advancement of women in the accounting field,” said Denise Probert, Kaplan VP of CPA Education. "I’m a longtime member of ASWA, so I’ve witnessed firsthand the impact this organization has on the industry, and I am proud of the partnership we’ve established.”
